Just wanted to let everyone know of my experience from last week.
I traveled to Nicaragua to film videos for a ministry on July 9th and brought my DJI Inspire 1 with me.
I had no trouble taking it on the planes as carry on the whole way down there.
When I was going through customs though, they scanned each bag and grabbed my inspire 1 case and confiscated it.
They told me no drones are allowed in the country. They said they would store it for me until I was going to leave the country.
I had to pay $2.50 per day of storage.

They later told me they catch 2-3 drones per week in customs.

I did research before I left but couldnt find much of info on the subject.

Sounds like a fun country ...
