Thats good news,   my other half had hers last weekend,  they pulled her ahead.    We have a walk in vaccine centre in Twickenham, stadium,  yesterday they had left over doses and went against the guidelines and out out a tweet around 3pm saying if your over 18 and want it get here before 7:30pm.    They had queues like Disney land,  people were coming from hundreds of miles around London.

Were down to 30+ now but Ireland has moved to 18+,   I guess they have a small population.  Although if youre on one of the smaller islands they are doing the whole island on the same day.

Oh yes,   due to the Indian strain (which we are now supposed to call Kappa) France and Germany has closed its borders to us.   Although it appears Spain will do an exception for us and allow us in without any testing or covid vaccine,   thats how desperate for the tourism I guess.

Yes we  have small uptick of about 24% new cases over the last week and the Kappa strain accounts for more than 50% of those.  We also have "scientists" coming out of the woodwork saying that we shouldn't completely remove all restrictions on the 21st as was planned.

Only a matter of time before we will see Kappa taking over here.

We’ve decided not to travel this year.  Looking to buy an apartment to rent out for some passive income so will channel funds and energy into that if we can find somewhere.

Good choice. If it was not for our (all payed) booking from last year that was moved to this year, we would probably not have booked anything either.
