I was planning to recreate my golden hour dawn video of about a year ago, this time with an fpv quad. But the sun wouldn't show - only after I left with empty batteries. Still good for a bit of flying the DJI FPV drone and get in a few shots from the Mini 2. The very last shot is the Mini 2 at sun set.

impressive but I must ask how risky was it? was there risks with being close to moving turbines and could there have been signal problems getting so close to the telegraph lines?
Loved the way the music worked with the pace andthe sky at the end was a perfect finish

I had no signal problems whatsoever (wasn't very far and I noticed no interference).
And I think it was still pretty far from the rotors. Been thinking but haven't built up the courage to fly through a moving rotor...
That sunset at the end was great. The Mini did a nice job but I would have loved to fly the fpv then, too.

Great flying Depp.    Love the location.  Too bad about the sun not cooperating.  But the Mini 2 came through with an amazing sunset.

Do you think a hit from the blade would actually damage the turbine? Been wondering about that. But knowing me I don't think I'll ever be gutsy enough to try it unless with very slow turning turbines...

Typical,   I found a wind turbine thats in a good place to fly over the weekend, and you've beat me to it again.

You're very welcome.    I like FPV footage but still enjoy seeing non-FPV footage as well.  For its size the Mini 2 is truly a beast.

Think the blades are maybe fibreglass to stay lightweight and not attract lightning? Yeah. Think fast moving drone strike would  take out a blade.
