Request-Dji Air 2S Cinema/Tripod Mode Drone Custom Speed Setting

Hi Dji,

I just have a special request. You guys made almost a great drone but please bring back the setting of cinema/tripod mode custom speed setting as we use it on DJI go 4 app for Mavic 2, inspire 2, etc. Please add that function to the DJI fly app for the next update. That is a must-have function for professional use. The current cinema mode speed is too fast.

OR

Please give us an option to use DJI Air 2S with DJI go4 app. Go 4 app has every pro function we need.

Here's another thread on the forum where people are requesting this feature. I really hope they will bring the 1m/s option to the Fly App in Tripod/Cinemode. The current 5m/s is just too fast for many scenarios.

Hello All. My name is Vadim and I am considering pros of D-Log 10-bit video in Air 2S drone. Unfortunately, I can`t find any samples of 4K D-Log 10-bit in the internet. I only see 5 K BUT my PC does not play this 5K 10-bit video and I can not understand the reason. I agree 100%. Just received my new Mavic 2s, as soon as I found out it did not have Tripod mode I planned on returning the drone. This is a deal-breaker you cannot shoot good slow cinematic shots without the feature. I made the mistake of thinking the 2s would be an improvement over the previous model so I did not even consider looking into whether or not the tripod mode would be on the new model.

Agree. I'd love to have this feature back. to be able to vary the max speed from say 0.5 - 5m/s would be great.

Another vote for tripod mode return, 5m a second is just to fast. we need the 1 meter a second back under cine mode please! I don't understand why you would increase the speed 5 times. or have it selectable in the app so you can select your cine mode speed to what you want would be even better down to 0.5m a sec would be awesome!.

I second this! We need this option! DJI what is taking you so long to update that feature? Its a simple update, just a slider to customize tripod\cinematic mode with 0.5-10 meter value, that's it. Do it already and make everyone happy! I don't want to play hacker with your code updating from a PC and doing it every time and new update comes out.

How is it that in way point you can adjust to 1mps but not cine mode
There's got to be a way to adjust the throttle speed by calibration of the control stick. Just a thought

+1 I just “upgraded” my original Mavic Ait (1) and was seriously disappointed to find a true tripod mode was not there!Please fix this oversight ASAP, DJI?

Yeah this is an absolute must. You can set the speed ridiculously slow using waypoints but absolutely no option when flying normally for video. Even for safety this is a must. First-time Flyers should have the ability to limit the speed as they get accustomed to the controls to avoid possible safety issues. DJI please bring this option back immediately

Yes, slower cine mode is essential. Given that this was first requested over 6 months ago it does not seem to be a priority for DJI. Maybe posting on facebook or somewhere more visible to potential buyers of the air2s would make more of a difference?

You made that request more than one year ago - I don't think that recent updates brought that back, I'm think about creating custom sticks to achieve that , but that is less than ideal..Please DJI ?.
