This is a snip of my first video with the P3P.
Yes I know, there is a lot of Jello and it's over exposed but I am waiting for the ND filters from (PhantomFilters.com) @FantomDK which I ordered back on 5th July.
The drifting horizon level is also annoying.
I am new to the use of UAV's as photography mechanisisms and the last time I flew anything remote control was when I was just 15 years old (now 52).
Thoughts welcome.
Good use of the camera gimbal! Shows your experience with remote control.
I have question, what is the landmark that you were flying around? I am not sure what causes the jello, I haven't had it and I have only flew a few times. What was your max height in this video.
I received my filters very quickly.. Beware, they come in a flat envelope, blue and white. they are clearly marked, but I overlooked the envelope and tossed it in with junk catalogs and solicitations, no realizing the filters were in the mix. I discovered it a week or more later when I was cleaning up my "junk" mail.
I have been told the jello comes from props being unbalanced. I bought a du-pro balancer before I even received the P3P. Balanced the props before even taken it up once.
I plan to go back here at some point and do a flight over the wetlands seen in the background. These wetlands are actually the site of an old saltworks.
Very, very nice orbit around the monument. Was this manual or what's your technique for angular control. And do you remember your altitude during the orbit around the monument?
Wow! Great camera work, contrast and color. But the jello kills it. You really need to figure out what is going on there. That took a great video and made it a good video.
Yes, I agree - your manual "POI" is pretty good.
My sympathies on the exposure. I suffered the same thing for a month or so before I finally bought some ND filters.
