They are rare here as they aren't native to the UK,   they escaped from somewhere in Kent a few years ago,  and unlike the crawfish at least they are not destroying the water ways.

They certainly are loud though.

I'm not really into these specific species, but I think we caught regular frogs.
They have been in that pond for as long as I remember.

These are a little unusual as they have a very loud waiting call. and they mae bubbles from their mouths,  and compared to a common frog there are a light lime green colour.

The ones we caught were loud too. It was quite funny to hear them. But without bubbles.

I had a great weekend.  Dove on a shallow ship wreck but the waves were a bit high and it was churning up the bottom silt so visibility was not the best.  Anyway, got to try out some new equipment so was a good dive.

Several models available.  Unfortunately, most are rather expensive and a few have tethers which defeats the purpose for which I wanting to use them for.  I'll just keep on searching.
