Would appreciate suggestions for an aftermarket GPS tracker for the Inspire 1.
DJI should include some sort of GPS tracking, apart from the pilot app as part of the package.
Not all fly-aways end happily, like my case.

There has been many discussion on these trackers in the past if you search the forum.

There are many types you can use such as  Trax, Marco Polo, Gotek7 , Prime lite, the new Prime Alert,  link : http://www.gotek7.com  etc.

Check them out, but DJI don't recommend you attach them.

from my past research the cheapest was the tax with no monthly fees, but the Prime Lite was also a good choice.

If you don't have reliable cell reception, or don't want to pay monthly usage fees, go with the Marco Polo RC. It has range of .5 to 5 miles depending upon terrain/obstructions; though usually closer to the low end. However, you will have some idea of last point of communication via the flight record so the search can be easily accomplished. I lost my bird and located it from 4.77 miles away although I had LOS and elevation advantage.

i know this is an old thread, but just wanna ask what GPS tracker did you used for your Inspired 1?

Try using trackimo I use it on my p4 and it works wonders!
