A hiking trip in the eastern part of the German Harz mountains with more flying than I thought.
When I saw those wind turbines peaking out of the morning mist I had to stop and fly - an unexpected pleasure though the fpv drone switched to normal mode when flying too far. Going back in manual mode I almost lost it: Hard to fly fpv with mist on your lens!
First planned stop: Castle Grillenberg, where you can't fly. There's a tiny starting point outside a nature reserve and a residential place. Hard to see the castle in-between the trees.
No flying at the second and third spot.
Next are a mining museum (Röhrigschacht) and the tower Molkewarte.
In the distance you can see the mountain of mining debris that is to be my first mountain diving place - great fun.
My next destinations were no fly zones again but on the way back I found two more suitable spots to let loose the DJI fpv drone.

Thank you. Glad you like it.
You can see when I come down through the fog all crazy crookedly that that freedom almost cost me ;-)
