I can't find the answer to my question, so .....
I'm asking here.

Is there a way to set the timelapse on the Pocket 2 to save jpeg + raw without a smartphone?
I can't find it swiping around the menu's.

Hi Peter, You can set the timelapse to Video, Video+JPEG, Video+RAW, there is no option for JPEG+RAW.
If you need to change the format, you need to enter Pro mode first. On the current screen you stay at, swipe to the left, enter Pro mode > then set the Pocket 2 to Timelapse mode > then go back to the camera screen > tap the PRO icon on the upper right of the screen.
Hope this provides you with some info.

Why can't we do timelapse without video? Like I don't need that video at all I can generate it in the post using the images. Useless to generate video and eat Pockets CPU and battery.

Could you give that option to save only jpg, jpg/raw, raw only in the next firmware (that never comes)?

Ah ok, I could not find that menu, but missed the fact that the pro icon is also a button. I will try soon!

That worked great.
Second question, can I also stop the P2 from starting in 'selfie' mode (camera faced towards me)?
Not a big deal, but not I always have to flip it before starting a new recording

Yes. If you start up by button 1, camera will be started up in selfie mode.
If you use button 11 to power it on, camera will face forward.
