Just tested the P2 filters.
The P2 recognizes them (magnets I think) and keeps the lens facing outwards.
So you can store it with the filter on, but that would leave the glass exposed.
I was worried it would try to turn it all the way in, but they designed that better.

That sounds better than I had heard,    but still not great if you are putting in the case I guess?

It is the best they could do (ok, they should have designed it with a few extra mm so it could swing back with a filter attached)
The P2 is clearly not aimed for pro use, it lacks simple things like manually changing exposure values with a hardware dial and this for example.
Luckily I (sort of) have a hardware option now with the vario ND filters.
They do add some vignetting in the corners, but luckily those are cut off in video mode.
Trying a 'slow' shutterspeed timelapse as we speak.
The 6-9 filter allows for quite slow shutterspeeds even now.
Like 1/12s (not really slow, but I hope it will add some nice motion blur).

I did not find a way to use cinelike in timelapses, which is a shame, as that is a wonderful color profile.
Tested it yesterday and the footage instantly improves.
Also the slow shutterspeeds with the ND filter gave it a more pleasing look.

I will do more testing the following days.
