I bought my Tello about 13 months ago and used it regularly for about 5 months (May - October), when colder times struck and I retired my drone for 2 months, until 1st of January 2021, when I went to hike up a hill and ski down....

When I reached the top, I pulled out my drone and  prepped it to fly

The drone took off, flew for about 20 seconds, when I suddenly got an warning and the drone auto-landed
Battery was drained, so I tried with my 2nd one, same problem repeated, same thing happened to the 3rd battery...

Came home, charged the batteries and for some reason the drone even in normal conditions drained the battery super fast.

about 1% per 2-3 seconds which is weird as in the summer of 2020 I could fly it up to 10 minutes no problem.

Does anyone have any idea on why this has happened?

The temperature on the hill was around 1°C, altitude around 600 meters.




Even now when I try to charge it, the battery drains super fast....

Not sure my guess is that it does not preform well in the cold ? Mbye try to cycle the battery see if that does anything?
