just came back from flying mini2 with sc for about 15 minutes.  everything works fine.  the updates all went well:  drone, battery, sc.  unfortunately the sc keeps asking me to connect to mini2 by press/hold the button; hopefully that gets worked out.

First flight with sc and mini2, went very well.

Because the firmware also states to solve the battery problem, I suspected the need to update every battery as well. But didn't get a notication when using a different battery in the drone.

Test flight with Smart Controller and Mini 2 worked well.

Although at first I could not get my updated Smart Controller to connect to the Mini 2 drone then I remembered you need to update the firmware in the Mini 2 as well. I connected my normal Mini 2 controller + a smart phone and did the Mini 2 firmware update too. After that it worked as expected.

I fogot about updating the drone also......then i watched the video......lol. for some reason, i thought the sc would update the drone. Im sooo glad i watched the video.

SC have new firmware and still no fix for this..
Such stupid team of engineers... Never seen in my life...
And sick and tired of DJi lies...

You're welcome.  Hope DJI gets the lag issues resolved soonest.

Today I made my first flights with Mini 2 and Smart Controller. I couldn't find any differences in the range between SM and standard controllers. However, the video feedback on the SM constantly drops out regardless of the distance. It's definitely not a range problem. I tested this on two different places, alternating between SM and standard controller. The problem only occurs with the SM. Also only with the Mini 2. My Mavic 2 Pro doesn't cause any problems with the SM.

Had to shutdown everything. Restart the drone, then the controller and after the controller had connected, started the fly app. Only in that sequence I obtained the message to update.

Does anyone use the smart controller with the bag that ships as part of the combo for the Mini 2? Does it fit in that bag?

Yes, it fits the standard fly more combo bag, with the pgytech screen guard on, and still plenty of room left
