I used the URL parameter TID and went down in big increments until it gave me an error.

Sorry, it's how this (and other) websites work.
Every thread gets an ID and you can see that in the URL on top of the broswer.
The number after tid=xxxxxx  This is thread 244804

That was my first try, but it did not work, so I went up to 500 or so and found 2014

Strange that the history is deleted by DJI after 100 pages.
