The DJI website says it works with any drone with Occusync 2.0 and that Mini 2 has Occusync 2.0 but the guy at the local shop said it doesn't work with Mini 2.  Does anyone know for sure?

The latest DJI Mini 2 Release Notes (06/16/2021) added support for DJI Smart Controller ( requires DJI Smart Controller v01.01.00.58 or later ). It works. Believe me. I fly the mini 2 with the SC.
But, you have to install the latest firmware on the smart controller and on the mini 2 drone.
