I got this one on Amazon Canada for my Ipad Air 4 (usb c) and it works great.

There is no "best" cable.
There are hundreds of cables available and most will work perfectly.

I use the one that came with my Mini 2. Galaxy SM-T290 Tab A. It works great.

Yes the Mini 2 uses the newer controller with the rear mount connector so using the stock cable with a simple tablet extender mount works fine for an 8" tablet. If you are using a larger tablet, that may be a stretch.
