DJI Mini 2 And DJI FPV Goggles V2.

Hi all,

I have the Mini 2 and just purchased the DJI FPV Goggles V2 and waiting for delivery.

What I didn't think of was are the goggles compatible if not I can cancel the order, wish I asked before I impulsed purchased.

The only way I know of that you can get the Mini 2 to work with the DJI FPV Goggles v2 is to use a Smart Controller then connect its HDMI output to a Composite video converter then connect that to the AV In port on the DJI FPV Goggles v2.

I tested it and it works well but the quality of the video is not HD as you are converting from HDMI (high quality) to Composite (lower quality).

Sorry this picture from inside the DJI FPV Goggles v2 is crap (it is hard to take a good photo through the lens).



Note: it might also be possible (I have not tried it yet) to use screen mirroring on an iPhone to mirror the phones screen (ie DJI Fly app) to a laptop PC (eg using Reflector 4) then take the HDMI output from the laptop PC and patch that into the DJI FPV Goggles v2 using the composite adaptor thing pictured above.
