Yesterday all of a sudden I noticed that blobs of dead pixels formed on the right eye screen.I performed several flights then I noticed this, I'm not sure exactly when it could have happened because I know I never left the googles unattended so I'm puzzled.
I'm uncertain if I should fill in the serial of the DJI FPV Combo or just the googles when asking for warranty repair service because If i use the googles serial i get *no service plan available* if if use the DJI FPV Combo serial and chose accessory malfunction i get a service plan. Can any admin clarify pls?

Hi there, sorry for this problem caused you. The burning bums of the V2 screen of DJI FPV flying glasses result in yellow and green spots are mostly caused by putting the glasses in the direct sunlight environment when the user is preparing outdoors. Please check the guidelines here for using FPV: https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... y_Guidelines_9.pdf. Regarding the said issue, you may send the FPV Goggles V2 to us and open a repair case via this link: https://repair.dji.com/repair/index?site=brandsite&from=nav.

I cant say that no ray has penetrated the lens but even if that happened it was for no more than a couple of seconds while removing the googles.
If something like this tends to happen even with such short exposure it should be stated with red giants capital letters on the box it self and on the first page of the quick user manual or with a short warning EVERY F***ing time the googles are powered on, but it is not.
Anyway I guess this means I have to pay to get the googles repaired?

I also have this issue, the green dots appeared just after the latest upgrade that was done inside my house without direct sun light reaching the goggles !

it is not legal for DJI to replace your new product with returned / used / secondhand parts or reconditioned units no mater what there policy says . So if they expect to do so to resolve an issue then a discounted price must be agreed first. As you are effectively buying secondhand not New.

it is fair that they should have the ability to recycle parts but only for sale as reconditioned / refurbished units
