i've put together a very short manual for the P3, it might need some extra work but i'll wait for you guys for add-ons and ideas.

don't ask about the IMU readings, if found this myself somewhere... have yet to figure this out on my own

Here are a few things that should be corrected:

"in case of gps loss QC will go in to ATTI mode: quickly switch to A on remote and take control over your QC"

You'll be flying in ATTI even if in "P" mode. It would be best to stay in "P" mode. That way, you'll be flying with GPS assistance again as soon as you acquire enough satellites. If you switch to "A" mode, you'll be flying in ATTI even after you acquire enough satellites.


"in case of RC signal loss the QC will hover for 8 seconds and then land"

The Phantom will only auto land if the home point has not been marked and the Phantom is not connected to enough satellites. Otherwise, it'll return to the home point.


"fully drain batteries if not used for a prolonged period"

This is not a good idea. The batteries will automatically discharge to a safe level after 10 days.
