Long story short, it was purchased by a private maritime history group who wanted to turn her into a tourist attraction in my local area.   21 years later it still sits where it is today.   The listing is due to rusted ballast tanks and recent storms.   Plan is to tow her to shallow waters for repairs I believe.

Yes, this is a unusable video shot of  sub marine. Well done to catch this before its gone.

Thanks for the history.  My Dad served on diesel subs in the US Navy after World War 2, so I have always had a soft spot for submarines.  Too bad that it has not been restored as originally planned.  I hope it is able to operate again.
