Not all the controls work without the app running but at least that one does.

Just re painted the window cills now it time to switch back to the stairs and start sanding the spindles.

Sanding was never one of my favorite woodworking jobs to do.  Good luck.

Spindles are the worst to sand,   all the round moulding etc,   much prefer flat sanding.  At least I have machines for that.

Spindles = all hand sanding.  Not fun at all and very time consuming.

I wish I'd picked up some wire wool earlier would have made the job a bit easier.  Oh well too late now.

Hard to remember everything you need when you are in the store shopping for a project.  Never thought about using wire wool.  Does that work well to get into crevices, etc.?

Yes as long as it’s not the really fine stuff which I have loads of.
