With the Delta strain of COVID still lurking around, my traveling has been somewhat limited. And when it comes to shooting locally, spring/summer in Southern California is definitely lacking what is universally agreed to be called "sunset weather". Very low humidity means no haze/clouds, hence nothing interesting in the sky.
However, last Monday was a notable exception from this rule, and we actually got some cloud coverage right around sunset time.
Needless to say, I had my M2P on standby. Granted, the batteries were only about 60% after a few months of no-flying, but with the 3 of them (I ended up using 2 out of 3) and careful timing I was able to catch what I wanted.
Below are two versions of the same 180 pano.
One is downloaded to the iPhone directly from the craft, touched in iOS PS Express (full).
Another is assembled in the latest ACR from 21 DNG files on the latest Windows 10 PC I just updated (today, actually) to fairly decent hardware (15Tb SSD, 128Gb RAM, 4.5Ghz i5 Intel)
You can decide which one you like best, I won't tell you which one is which
The resolution of both presented images is about the same (naturally, the actual ACR version is MUCH larger)
Thanks for looking and reading!
