Hi. I found DJI has a new DJI Fly app update for IOS - version 1.4.8.

Hello there Selah1234. Good day and thank you for these information you have given. For additional reference the DJI Fly application v1.4.8 has the following updates. Thank you and keep flying.

- Adds support for DJI Mini SE
- Adds Trimmed Download for DJI Air 2S
- Optimizes camera exposure parameter adjustment
- Optimizes attitude indicator and map on bottom-left of the screen

No in app update on Android for me at the moment... but that optimized design looks good IMPOV.

What’s change or new for mavic air 2?

No in-app update for me either. But you can manually download and install from DJI website....

On the DJI download page still 1.4.2;))), such a joke from the DJI website.

Can't remember it was different before. Just start the download, there you can see what will arrive.

Thanks for the heads up! I downloaded the apk on July 1st (1625063375854-DJI-v1.4.8-210630-1116-48339-official-sec.apk), but did not install. And I downloaded again a day later and as you said there's a new build (1625189064256-DJI-v1.4.8-210701-1120-48346-official-sec.apk). I think I'll wait until the app prompts me to install the update. DJI maybe doing a slow rolling update and as users are reporting issues DJI is correcting and issuing new builds.

I don't understand.. I'm trying to download the new update but I keep getting  an error page.. I'm hoping the update fixes the black screen with my new phone. Galaxy s21

That's why i did not downloaded it yet.

hi guys, newbie here, just got mine recently, the drone itself, but on my iPhone when I am connected to the fc, I can't find the zoom button or feature anywhere plus in the middle lower part of the screen, I don't seem to have that radar thingy that should tell me where the drone is...am I missing something guys?

Digital zoom is available only in video mode, 2x in 4k and 4x in 1080. The easiest way to control the zoom is to hold down the "Fn" button while moving the the gimbal tilt wheel.

The Aircraft Orientation Indicator was removed and replaced by the Attitude Indicator in Fly 1.2.2. Here's a video to explain how it works (starts at 4:24) -

Thanks pappy3, regarding the aircraft indicator, I think I understand it now, but still, under video mode, I don’t have that “1x” icon on the middle right side of the screen like video showed. Maybe some software glitch? Tested just now, I can’t seem to be able to zoom at all, do i have to change any video settings to enable it?

Absolutely, utterly ridiculous that they're re-releasing different builds for the same "version" of an app ... why use version numbers at all?  Really wish DJI software was half as good as the hardware ...

The only video mode supported for zooming is "Normal". The color profile can be either "Normal" or "D-Cinelike". For 4K you need to select "4K ZOOM", "1080P" always has zoom enabled (again in Normal video mode only). You can change the zoom level by tapping on the zoom level indicator, "1x" initially, or by holding the "Fn" button down while moving the gimbal wheel.

What’s change or new for mavic air 2?

1.4.8 changed the "Attitude Indicator" display by swapping the priority of the blue dot (RC) from under the yellow "H" to on top of and the RC orientation indicator used for aligning the RC antenna withe the aircraft from blue to light green.

Thanks again pappy3, i missed the bottom right “4k 30” wording as it actually can be clicked on and then all the menus are out, someone said it’s at the bottom but i never thought it was this. Thanks a lot.
