i deeply appreciated the add of SRT file export within the DJI FPV. But i wonder if the altitude is correct into this file? i used Telemetry overlay or another website to look into the file and it seems that the altitude is not correct, or do I miss something? I usually fly within a range of 40-50 m altitude difference, but it indicate only around 4-5 m. What is the metric of this value for exemple?

I got a precise answer from DJI support in Germany, DJI is unable to give more accurate Z (altitude) telemtry info as those are based on the barometer which is not accurate cause of self-turbulance during elevation.

I have the same problem with my readings...

Updated the drone last Friday and I was really happy to see that the .srt are back... but the altitude readings are totally off.


I really hope they fix this.
I use flightcontrollers with baro for my other fpv drones and the readings I get are better than these ones.

I also have the same issue for the SRT files.
The altitude displayed by the goggles appear plausible to the actual altitude.

I mostly fly between 10 an 20 metres (data from the goggles) but the SRT files says my altitude is between minus 8 and minus 2 metres.

Why is there a difference between the altitude in teh goggles and the SRT file ?

Same problem here, this is a calculation from the gps position, how is this so hard to display?

This is obviously not a problem with the barometer, but with the way the data is recorded in the SRT logs. The altitude data is divided by 10.

Can DJI shed some light on when this issue will be resolved? This happeens on firmware V 01.02.00.00

SRT logs of other drone models had similar problems in the past, and some of them were fixed with firmware updates.

I think this is the same sort of question:   I flew my FPV up to 1200ft and it registered as 50.47345 in "Altitude" (in the frame I was looking at.)  Wondered how that was actually measured.

Note, that if you start recording mid-flight that will require to input shift amount basing on Ur guess, so better start recording before takeoff.

I have exactly the same problem with the wrong height. I have now installed Python 3.12. But what happens next? Can you tell me in detail how I can load and edit the fixalt.py file and my SRT file there?
