For those who installed the Fly 1.4.8 - 113 version earlier, DJI has put a Fly 1.4.8 - 116 on their webside.

I don't know what's the difference. And the installed app doesn't automatically download the new version, so you have to fetch it again from the dji webside.

I reckon we'll find out tomorrow if there is any difference in performance.

as it is a sub-version of 1.4.8, I don't think it will be make major difference. Something they forgot as it was published just a couple hours after the first 1.4.8 version.

I'm excited! On the download website you can even find the correct version, which you can then download ... My last update not even 2 weeks ago was 1.4.4 - now 1.4.8? What has happened in the meantime?

It looks like they have fixed the Samsung S21 Ultra issue too.

I just had a quick flight with v 1.4.8 and 4K 30fps video. No camera issues, smooth video to phone. Hopefully fixed. UK S21 Ultra phone with Exynos processor.

No luck with my Samsung A32 (yes I know its not on the DJI list) I cant go higher than 1.4.0 even tried to load it through the DJI website

Build is now 1120. But looking at youtube a lot of devices are over heating and turing off. With 1.4.8

Can confirm that overheating is happening, DJI need to get this sorted ASAP I'ts god dam dangerous, iphone over heated to the point the phone screen auto dimmed then a few minutes later shut the phone down, It's ridiculous that there is no option to turn off charging.

Come on DJI do something right for once.

What version of 1.4.8 you are now on, Craig?

The last 24h DJI lauched 113, 119 and recently 120.
Of course there are differences between those versions. Alone we don't know which.

Notice the latest version 1.4.8 (477) not stable too. Using Iphone 6s with IOS 14.6.  The phone surely turn hot. Mine have the video live feed lagging and prompt the "CPU fully loaded...." .Already delete the app>shutdown phone> and reinstall fly app again. Issue still the same. The phone is just exclusively for flying the drone with no SIM card. The issue seems to happen more when I fly with WIFI and Bluetooth ON.

It did better when I fly in aeroplane mode(WIFI and Bluetooth OFF). Hope there will be another s/w release soon.

If 477 does not work for you maybe you schould try 1120.

On version 1120 I had three flights, the application crashed twice. The image was uploaded, but the flight data was not refreshed. It was also impossible to start recording, flight time and battery power stopped. The restart was difficult on the fly. My smartphone is LG V50. Before that, everything worked perfectly

That little pest(Mini 2) is now going berserk, out of nowhere! It was the least controllable time since I bought it.
Cleaned, checked and tried to lift-off again. It goes straight into a bush again!
Shutdown, cleaned again thoroughly and gone into open space to re-check.
Now, cooled down, it flied normally, as nothing was happening before.
At least my Mini 2 was at low altitude and the drop after hitting a near obstacle didn't cause any visible damage.
Well, seems to be possessed for a short time, I hope it was the first and last time.

Unfortunately I had to go back to version 1.4.4 Version 1.4.8.1120 locks up with every flight. There is nothing to be done, you have to return the drone blindly. It's not a good job.

I have the impression that the next versions of DJI FLY require more efficient precessors in smartphones / tablets. Therefore, equipment heating up or freezing occurs.
Most likely, the optimization of the application is very poor.

Instead of coming here to thank people each time for their support and sharing; can our 'Super Moderator' please tell us if those different 'build numbers' in the same version really matter?

For what it's worth, flew my original Mini last night for 4 batteries worth of flying without any issues other than my usual WiFi interference (a little bit).  Using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A with Fly version 1.4.8 build 1120.

Totally agree that DJI should  give us back that option to turn phone charging on or off.  I'm an iPad user and my iPad always says 'Not Charging" when its hooked up to the Mini 2 controller. However, I've noticed a significant drop in the number of flights on a single charge of the controller. Does this mean that the controller is still trying to charge up my iPad even if its indicating that the iPad is not charging?
