Help!
My phantom 2 v2.0 controller will not connect to the v3.8 assistant software, i have tried on both of my computers and when i connect my remote to the usb slot it does not make a sound or show that it is connected but my controller does start to charge...


Really need help
want to activate advanced mode

Your remote controller connects to your RC 1.2 assistant, not the PC  assistant 3.8

The assistant software talks to the  Phantom and not the RC. If you are using Windows on your computer be sure you have loaded the Windows USB driver from DJI.
