The batteries swell at the bottom and push out of the cradle. The mavic 2 pro batts swell way to fast.

Batteries swell when they get hot and there have been many reported cases where a swallon battery popped out of the slot on the M2P,   with a rear mounted battery they just get more wedged in when they swell so less likely to have a catastrophic failure.

I like the idea of the batteries being pushed in, looks way more secure. Waiting on this beast to arrive

And what if it swells in flight and cannot be removed because it gets stuck?
It is not known what is worse.

The battery doesn't get ejected so its stuck and it might even break the shell but its not falling out of the sky.
