Hello guys

Bought a new DJI pocket 2, i tried to update it and it got stuck on 30% and i got a message on my dji : Firmware update failed.

So i tried to install again, but DJI mimo does not give me the option to upgrade the firmware anymore.

How can i force a firmware update on DJI Pocket 2?

The only error i received was : Firmware update failed.

Now DJI mimo does not give me the option to install the firmware again.

Please act as following instructions step by step:
1.Please connect Pocket2 with computer through a Type-C data line or using a Card reader.
2.Copy the file into SD card.
3.After update, delete the file (bin.) inside SD card.
4.If you use the card reader, copy the file into the SD card and insert it into Pocket 2. After update having done, please delete the file on the computer.

Thank you for getting back to me.
They are 3 folders in the dji  Pocket2 directories
Which folder do i copy the firmware to?

And how will i know the update has been done correctly?

DCIM contain pics and videos.
MISC is for other logs and so on.
System Volume Information is a folder generated by Windows.

Copy it to the root of the memory card where those 3 folders are. So don't put it to the folder. If Pocket 2 is coded to find BIN files when booting up it will find it and execute it.

So this means there IS a way to update the Pocket 2's firmware using a PC instead of a phone? Why wasn't this revealed earlier on? And why hasn't it been made public earlier?

Would have made many people's lives easier with the camera.

Hi, HGDC84. I would like to tell you that the firmware is not updating through PC. Actually, this is just a contingency plan when you fail to upgrade online. Would you mind telling me what kind of issue you encountered?

I currently have no firmware issues with the camera, I just am dissappointed that many users have had to desperately try and find a compatible phone or tablet to upgrade their firmware in trying to fix their problems with the device, when there could have been an easier way to upgrade the firmware.

Would like to hear when (if?) there will be a new firmware update coming up and what it will fix or change though.

I got the same error

There clearly are many requests to be able to update using PC. Why are you sending the firmware file only through PMs instead of putting a straight link on here? It would certainly be less hassle for those needing it...

Good morning;
Using my Pocket 2 for the first time, it began a firmware update via Mimo on my phone.  At 50% it was interrupted and can not continue.  To make matters worse, the Pocket will no longer turn on.  It has a new SD card with 32GB available.  How can I get my fully charged Pocket 2 to turn back on so I can reconnect to Mimo and complete the firmware update?

I have the same problem, MIMO android app shows no update for the Pocket 2. I need to update this over PC, I need the updated firmware.

I have the same problem. I cannot activate nor update the firmware through the Mimo APP. It just doesn't recognize the hardware.
Can you send me the link to install the firmware manually?
I just purchased a pocket and already spent hours trying to make it work, but even fully charged it blinks yellow and red as if there is a firmware issue.

Can you also please send me the latest DJI Pocket 2 firmware? I have a problem with the do-it-all handle. It shows firmware version 00.00.00.00. If attached to the Pocket 2 device the screen remains black. Without the handle everything seems to be o.k. Thanks in advance...
