With the multi-control type C cable the Ronin-SC will start and stop video recording on my Canon EOS R6 (when in Video mode) but I haven't been able to get it to take photos, even after turning off the camera, disconnecting the USB cable, switching to a photo mode, plugging the USB cable back in, and turning the camera on again. Instead it only locks up the R6 and I have to remove it from the gimbal and pop out the battery to get the camera to turn off.
I've found that with the RSS cable it will take photos (only) and with the multi-control cable it will only do video.
The Ronin has firmware 1.6.0.50 installed. The R6 has firmware 1.3.1.
According to the compatibility list on this site for the EOS R6, it it supposed to be able to do both photos and videos with the multi-control cable. How?
