I shoot all my still drone photography (just about anyway!) using AEB.  There's no problem with storing the data and it does give you the exposure latitude for tricky subjects.  If you have either high of low contrast you can then combine the images the get the end result that you want.  I use an external program to do this, there are plent available to d/l if you Google 'HDR Program' although I tend to use the simple HDR editing pacilities built into Corel Paint Shop Pro (I'm on the 2020 version) as my aim is to produce a nautural looking end result that viewers won't be able to tell from an ordinary single shot.

I would love to have the option of the 5 shot AEB on the Mini 2 that I have on my Phantom 4 Pro though!

Well, that's interesting!

If they classify it,  it will drop a class due to the change in rules between weight and mtom,  you should watch the Ian in London video I shared with you.

Hes also just put up some videos of the volcano in iceland as he's out there at the moment.  the footage is quite special.

Was more demanding instead to let people choose the AEB as from -x 0 +x.... in this case DJI was not so smart, as this would boost the Mini 2 in front of competition....
The current AEB is only making a very soft difference, sometimes is needed a -1.5 0 +1.5, sometimes is needed -2 0 +2 and sometimes just need -1 0 +1....

This is what DJI should do in order to increase popularity of Mini 2...

I think they might do that with a Mini 2S/ Mini 3 since Hubsan Zino Mini Pro raised the bar with a sub 250g drone that includes 1/1.3 inch sensor and 3 way obstacle avoidance. I think the next Mini drone from DJI would be even better than that since DJI can't afford to lose in this competition

I think you can only set the number of shots on the Mavic Air 2 while the Mini 2 only has a fixed no. of shots
