I just purchased a Full sized Ronin and have succesfully installed everything but my mobile app and the pc assistant are both giving me a flashing error 'not dji intelligent battery'. I could only find one other instance of this happening and it was on the ronin-m primarily with mac based software. The battery is also fully charged.

I've updated the gimbal fimware in an attempt to fix the issue but cannot.

Can anyone please give me some help in fixing this issue?

1. Make sure the battery is tightly mount on your Ronin

i'm having the same issue I'm running v1.8 on the mac.

I have two batters and both are giving me the same error message.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue. Downloaded V1.8 of the RONIN Assistant (Mac) & followed the instructions for the firmware updates. Since then I'm also getting "Not intelligent DJI Battery" message.
I have 2 batteries, both brand new. Contacts are fine & batteries mounted properly. Didn't have this issue prior to update.
I have yet to use my RONIN.
Your assistance will be appreciated.

Had the same issue.
I reverted to the V1.4 Assistant & downgraded the Firmware.
RONIN is now working again & the Battery message has disappeared...

Trying a second time to Upgrade Firmware:
Opened V1.8 of Assistant & get the Battery message straight away before trying to upgrade Firmware to the latest.
Did Upgrade & Battery message is still there & no power to motors.

Reverting back once again.

Same issue here. Seems that some who have updated to 1.8/3.0/1.2 have the same issues- not Intelligent Battery, and motors don't work. I need 3.0 for the remote to work. Has anyone been able to resolve this issue?

Pls make sure the battery is tightly mount on your Ronin, and make sure the FM are up to date, the latest FM are GCU1.2, IMU3.0
Besides, try another battery to see if it works,  if nothing helps, pls contact DJI support for repairhttp://www.dji.com/service/recommended-centers

I have a problem on DJI RONIN

Today i have made the firmware upgrade to the IMU Version  and CGU version
But since iv done that the Ronin dont work anymore
The motors are stopped and dont work few second after the power on (and the information the software monitor are the good one)
I cant Auto Tune anymore or Calibrate the system
Then it is written "Not DJI Intelligent Battery", but in fact it is the real DJI intelligent battery
Iv try "default" button and my power cycle
but in all cases i cant use my DJI Ronin and i need it on a shoot ill be on next week

would you answer me really fast plz

I've responded to you on another thread.

I saw the “Not DJI Intelligent Battery” on the phone app after plugging in my new 4350mAH battery for the first time, even though my 3400mAH battery recognized without a problem.

After I downloaded the Ronin Assistant Software for my Mac computer from https://www.dji.com/ronin/info#downloads, chose Ronin Assistant Software v2.4, plugged in my Ronin via the micro USB cable and ran the firmware updates for both the IMU and GMU, my new 4350mAH battery was recognized, and everything WORKED FINE!!!
