Must be an issue with the intelligent smart battery itself?  Maybe they manufactured a bad batch?  Seems odd that the firmware update worked for some and not others.

Not sure DT,  I still think its firmware related.

Lol.  I tried it a couple of years ago and after half a mile it was a nice novel experience.    3 odd miles later I had black feet that took a while to get clean again.

When I was working in the health service I used to go to management meetings and child protection meetings then I would take off socks and shoes and walk on the grass before going back to my clinic.  Did that for years - when I retired and became a gardener and was in nature all day - I started to wear boots.  Ironic really
