I have used gimbaled GoPros for years but a new King has moved in.
My favorite feature, Active Track.  None of my gimbals did this.

Picture 1: a reminder how the technology has advanced, in shrinking sizes (and also having sharper image, more options to shoot and other benefits):

Picture 2: Sometimes, wild Pocket 2:s can be seen in the nature, standing on trees and observing their surroundings very carefully :-D

I have grown to really like my Pocket 2 and especially the motion timelapse feature.
We are on holiday in Sweden now and I have used my Pocket 2 to capture so many happy moments that it is hard to chose a favorite.


Here you can see the Pocket 2 making a motion timelapse of a wonderful sunset at the Unden lake tonight.




I have not processed the DNG files yet, but I looking at the DNG output of the Pocket 2 I can tell it will be amazing!



What an amazing little camera this is, allowing me to capture many moments in my life, without having to carry around a lot of heavy equipment!

So they want us to take a image of the pocket 2 in use like the example, and spend time (and money) to try to get a good image. And then we can get lucky getting $30 if they like it in DJI credit that we can only use on DJI shop.
They get free images, and sell 10 "lucky" winners products at $30 off.

So why should I work for free using my expensive DSLR with my photography skills + use fuel to drive to a desent location to take not only 1 but maybe 10 to get the perfect image that they probably doesn't want to use?

Only time spend planning, taking the image + working in post is worth more like $250 for my salary.

But I get their point, I'm just saying

The Mavic Air 2. I am a bit conflicted between that and the Mini 2 but I want HDR video so I might as well pay some extra for those better specs

Air 2 is really great, a friend have it so I can really recommend it. I have Mini 2 and it's also good, but louder and doesn't have 4K @ 60 that I really want.
Air 2 is also heavier so it can handle strong wind better.

Yeah, I want a drone with good frame rates (looking at MA2 with its 1080p/120fps) but I doubt my dad would allow me. You got any tips to convince him?

But they look pretty the same... People wouldn't easily know from the outside whether I'm using Pocket 1 or 2 (except if I use the do-it-all handle or they look at the lens). I'm out of luck this time...
