If you are like me and hold a Part 61 license (Private Pilot) and no longer wish to tie your Remote Operator License to your Part 61 license the FAA has released a training course and test. What this means you no longer have to go through the expense of a bi annual flight review with a flight instructor or go to a testing center to renew your Remote Operator License every 24 Mo.  The training and test is Part 107 Small UAS Recurrent - Part 61 Pilots.
