Hi guys!

I've writing here because I'm a little puzzled... I bought a Mini 2 a couple months ago and noticed that the rear left engine/rotor offer a much higher resistance to manual rotation (when drone is turned off, of course). Contacted the assistance and they suggested to ask the shop for a new drone as this was uncommon. The shop sent it in assistance and DJI assistance turned back the same drone saying the reason was the drone not being activated yet and the engines needed to be activated (?). I did try to fly it today and appears to flight normally. Now i wonder, 3 engines rotate really smootly with just the touch of a fingertip, the 4th one takes more effort and when it rotates you can feel pretty well the steps of the engine... is this gonna cause any issue in the future? may absorb extra energy or lead to an engine failure soon?

Did any of you notice anything similar? Any help is welcome.

Yeah, that's definitely not normal. All the motors should free wheel easily.  That motor needs to be replaced.

Thanks both @Stephen and @RDB for the replies. I'd be happy to have a confirmation it needs to be replaced, before opening an assistance ticket...

Both of mine have the same issue. I have not had any problems with motor errors or over heating.

a little new video to clarify, if needed. Turn volume on, it helps understanding.

you may notice that even the top right isn't perfectly smooth in movement, when compared to top-left and bottom-right, but nothing as "steppy" as the bottom-left motor.

I was posting when you replied. Coudln't find that thread before, or any other reporting similar issues.

Glad to hear you didn't have any issue so far due to it, nor the original poster of the linked topic did.

I had the same concern about having it repaired if unneccessary, just worried it could lead to future troubles when its out of warranty.
