The Fagradalsfjall volcano in Iceland is proving very popular with spectators and drone pilots too; it's not often you get a near contunous gentle eruption that lets people watch the crater overflow with lava, flowing down huge lava fields without a risk of a violent eruption.
There are a fair few places to hike up to see it, but one path inparticular gives you a direct view over to the crater. As said, a fair few droen pilots are flying up there so I put together a video on some of the practicalities of getting there, how to see it, where to climb and what to watch out for when flying.
Hopefully some of you will be able to make the trip out to Iceland this year and if you do, thn hopefully you'll get some great pictures and video....

Theres so much drone footage from this volcano I suspect they need ATC for the drones up there.
Yeah, there were probably 4-6 up there at any one time flying; I figured there was a lot of space and the odds were far more that it would get burned up rather than crashed into......
