Howdy.

I was given a smart controller as a birthday gift. I had issues with it from the outset.

It started with a server error, which needed me to send it to DJI in Netherlands.  This meant no smart controller on my trips away.

Now i am back, tested it.  I was forewarned about latency issues but still had hopes.

So i have 3 issues:

1. When I connect my mavic mini 2 up, it doesn't always show the "Fly" button for the dji fly app.

2. When it starts randomly it will have a black screen. I see the screen artefacts to control the drone. But no video image.

After a disconnect and restart it seems fine.

3. During flight every 3 to 5 mins the screen fully blacks out. When I hit the back button it will come on, but then I have to reopen the fly app.

Any thoughts or help is welcome.

I sorta have the same problem with my mini. The screen is black but can control the drone and it will still record but I cannot see the live footage. Now the "camera" works just fine on any other app that I use. Confusing and irritating.  I have to keep drone within eye site at all times. Sorry for not being any help.
