Hello Forum!

I've been using my Phantom 3 for about two months now and have recorded some fantastic footage.

However, on a recent flight some parts of the video have lines pulsating through the footage - please take a look below


Does anyone have any idea on what causes this and if it can be fixed? It only seems to appear when flying into the wind at full speed, maybe this is the issue?

That's caused by the sun shining through the props. Get a lens hood to resolve it.

Yes, reflection from the props, as that pattern is very obvious to me...

Try flying a bit slower, while filming, so the aircraft remains more stable and parallel to the ground below.
Or fly with the Sun star behind the camera, as opposed to up out front.
You are already doing very well, just a little bit more practice.. Keep at it. ;-)

That makes sense. I was panicking thinking something was wrong with the camera, but this is good to know for future reference.
