An analysis of the specs we should expect from the upcoming flagship of the Mavic line

Great job on the video.  

My personal wish list is bigger sensor, variable shutter aperture, bit better battery life and omindirectional sensors.  Also, to stay on Go4 App.  I plan on upgrading so hope the 3 Pro is a beast.

I have an MA2, an A2s and an M2p. The M2p is superior in most ways as far as I am concerned, hence the higher price, so I would expect the M3p to be even better.

I hope the M3P stays in the go4 app as the stick controls are far superior.

Bigger sensor, will be the main reason people will upgrade. There will be loads of bells and whistles as usual with dji drones. The air 2s has a real edge on M2P “Price and value for money” its tech is newer its hardware easily compares and it has greater portability. M2P is a good drone but has fallen behind Air2s. For the money Air2s is much greater value and M3P will need Substantial upgrades if its going to be 50% higher priced than Air2s.

I’m not sure that the Mavic 3 Pro will loose the brand name “Mavic” when originally released it almost always went by the name “Dji Mavic Pro” but hopefully we wont have to wait long.

Yep you can define a S curve for the control of the sticks so you can get much more precise and smooth movements.

You must have gotten a bad one then. Mine is far better in almost every way compared to my A2s. It literally flies lateral circles around the A2s. My used M2P cost me $929, $70 less than the new A2s, and it looks and flies like new. The Go4 app is tougher to master but has far more capability. The Fly (Go5) app is for beginners.

SDK is not exclusive to DJI.
From Google - A software development toolkit (SDK) is a set of software tools and programs provided by hardware and software vendors that developers can use to build applications for specific platforms. .

The fact that DJI offers any SDK's is good because most companies do not bother. Only companies that encourage value-adding associates are that open minded.

O3 is a joke as it ships with a O2 controller,  and master shots can be recreated on the m2p as it can fly waypoints and missions as it has the SDK and Air2S wont have that.

Its amazing you cannot point to any single reason its better . Regards to go 4 app Ive been using it for years and its just incredibly bogged down with needless rubbish that do nothing but block the view of the screen , and for photographers/videographers seeing what you’re photographing videoing is paramount.
Again you fail to point out how go4 is the superior App. I would point out that you will find thousands of posts on this forum completely rubbishing go4 app and same can be said of feed back on the App Store and google play
Buying a drone with 3 years old tech and secondhand for two thirds of the price is nothing to write home about.
I’m afraid there is only one thing thats slightly better about M2P and thats the colour science from the camera.

I didn’t get a bad one and when i bought it it was probably the best pro/consumer drone out there, I still own it as well as the zoom , both are great drones but suffer now from older tech .
