So i just got a DJI FPV as a gift and am trying to set it up for the first time. The Goggles are saying connect it to my phone and the DJI Fly app.
The DJI app is not in the google play store. The app from https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly is failing to install. My phone is on the explicit COMPATIBLE list a Samsung Galaxy S8. I am using android version 9.

The app shows up on the Galaxy store but it looks to be an older version and does not have the FPV drone on its list of drones. I tried following this guide from a few years ago
https://forum.dji.com/thread-202136-1-1.html but with little success. Has DJI dropped App support to the S8+? what is the point in overcomplicating everything by having to do set up in an app?

Copy and paste the generated URL on the browser of your mobile device then download the APK, once you already download the APK file, please go to the download section on the browser of your mobile device then open the file after that, the APK will automatically install on your mobile device. Hi, I just tried downloading the DJI fly app from the website but it will not install. I have a Google pixel 2 XL and I checked that I have the up to date system version.
But I am still getting the "App not installed" message
Is there anything else I have to or can do please ?
