Temperature in the low 90's. Pretty windy, but Selah was handling it. I left her hovering high near a parking lot making a time lapse of vehicles moving through.
With 3 minutes and 19 seconds remaining, and about 17 minutes of flight time left. the phone stopped making shutter sounds, and counting down the time. "What?" worried for my drone, I attempted to stop the time lapse. No response. Now quite worried, I tried to move the drone. The drone and the video responded. As I manually flew my Air 2 back to me, the video showed properly, but when she reached my hand, the screen still said she was just under 300 ft away and 380 ft up. No controls except flight controlls responded, but the vew on the screen was working.
The time lapse worked
DJI Fly had just updated to version ... um ... don't you find the version under Profile -> Settings?
Try return to an older version. 1.4.8 is so bug plagued. I've personally encountered many different kinds of bugs including those similar to yours. In fact the app simply stops reacting while the camera feed is still working normally, but I can't press shutter or do any modification in app. Had to restart the app to regain control.

New updates have a tendency to bring a few bugs at the start (for DJI obv)

hehe A c;lose friend has 4 children. Two of them are Phoebe and Selah. However, I think a drone does not last long enough to be named for a child.

Long live the children, totally agree, your drone should not outlast them!
I had to downgrade from 1.4.8 ... I went back to 1.4.2 as it was super stable and I had not deleted the apk already... easy!
I actually switched over to iOS for a couple of flights til I got around to fixing the Android phone with that former build. Its a more powerful phone (S8), the old 6sPlus is showing its age.
Cool vid, you are good at videography. I hope that line of cars are making donations not withdrawls.
In Adroid, long press the App icon, then get App info... scroll to the very bottom, you will see the version number there.
