With all of the new cameras being developed for the air unit and vista, it seems like there should be a solution for inputting HDMI directly into the air unit...
I've heard that the protocol used is MIPI and there are HDMI converter units available.. https://www.digikey.com/short/vffprdv7
The reason being.. it would be amazing to have a digital video downlink from the cinema camera that we're starting to fly on FPV drones, without the fear of the video signals interfering with eachother on the same craft.

Is there any update on the HDMI adapter?

I've got my ear pretty close to the ground in a few different groups and I haven't heard anything just yet.

If l had the MIPI Pinout of the air unit I could try to use the HDMI to CSI adapter, as it does exactly the same just for the raspberry pi.

"if I had the pinout" I think may be what all this hinges on.. I know so little about the ins and outs though, and it just puzzles me that someone hasn't figured it out by now. maybe no one's actively trying?

I get my Goggles and Air Unit this week and I have an CSI HDMI adapter here laying around. I will Let u know if I figure it out.

No and I don't think they are going to provide an adapter, because then it would be more difficult to sell their occusync system. It's all about money.

any update with this project??

I am waiting for something like for some time now. Would enable us to make a relay to transmit dvi mavic etc video via vista which can be received by the goggles.
