The Steenbras River flows into the ocean near Gordon's Bay. There are hiking routes starting from the river mouth, along the river banks to rock pools. These routes are quite popular amongst hikers.

Looking at the footage presented, one wonders if the steenbras river flows into the Indian ocean OR if the Indian ocean flows nto the steenbras river - look carefully at the water flow...

Very interesting footage.  Appears the river flows out into the ocean but then the tidal reach flows back into the river.  Great job of capturing the water flow.

Indeed but the hike to the point of take-off was a little strenuous and the exit hike was somewhat worse.
I intend taking my Mini2 there soon and launching from the other side of the bridge - lazy!
