Hi,

I bought the Ronin S about three weeks ago and I am using it with my Canon DSLR (EOS 90D). I connected the control cable of the gimbal with my camera (microUSB) and plugged it into the Ronin S (that special port). After I activated the remote setting of my camera I tried to trigger the Record with the button on the Gimbal but it didn't work out. When the cable is connected I cant use the trigger of my camera either. I tried it with the special cable wich is placed in front of the ultrasonic trigger and it worked. But that's pretty unreliable because it moves when there is wind.


Is there anything I could chance in the setting of my camera or these of my gimbal to use the micro-USB cable instead of this annoying antenna,
or should I wait for a software update of my camera/the Ronin S?

Hi Nicolas02, please note that when connecting to the camera with the USB cable, please be sure to power on the Ronin-S prior to powering on the camera. Otherwise, camera control may fail.
