This video is an example of a long exposure hyperlapse. I have been doing hyperlapses with very heavy Neutral Density filters during the day to capture smooth motion. I dislike short exposure hyperlapses of fast moving objects that creates choppy looking motion and objects that seem to teleport around the video frame. By using an ND2000 filter during the day, I am able to capture smooth vehicle motion during hyperlapses.
Drone: Mavic Air 2
Camera Settings:
ISO 100
Shot interval : 3 seconds
Exposure time: 1.3 seconds
An ND2000 filter was used for all segments except when the sun was setting, then ND1000 or ND400 filters were used.
Now this is something I really would love to be making.
I have an ND2000 for my Pocket 2 just for this.
Unfortunately the Mini 2 does not have hyperlapse. .
I wish the video was still available. The ND filters with the Fly More package have been helpful for me. I like filming trains as well; the ND 32 does a nice job of making the clips look smooth without editing.
