Thought I would post a video from yesterday morning to break up all the whinging and moaning. Almost harvest time in the UK, no doubt brought forward a bit by the recent boiling weather we are having -
He passed me literally before I went goggles down. Nodded and gave me a thumbs up. They're getting ready to start the crop harvest so hopefully, will catch them. It's only 2mins from home this field, so here's hoping.

Rates are = 500 on all. Sensitivity is = 0.60 on all. Expo is = 1.00 on all. I like the feel to be nice and smooth around the centre stick with a nice flick to the edges. If you have all the values too high it's too sensitive across the stick range. That's good for racing where response is key, but for my type of flying there's no need. In relation to the hang time, it's a matter of knowing the feel of the drone (whatever you are flying) and the right altitude. My 4" freestyle kwad is a beast for hangtime and I like to see how long I can stay inverted before easing it back to normal. The throttle punch is key here. I've been flying FPV about 4yrs now and everyday is still a training day. It's just the feel of the drone and getting your rates right for how "you" fly. It's just practice and stick time buddy.
many thanks for all the tips from the expert!! I just started and still looking for the right rates for me. I'm not into racing, so my settings are not too different. But my experience is... As you said, it's practice and training and practice again! That's why we are doing it, right?

I'm out most days. It's a hobby but also a lifestyle.
