Hi,
I connected the External GPS compass module on the left side of my Matrice 210 RTK, but I don’t think it’s working properly.
I plugged its cable it into the back of the drone as shown in the Manual. I left the RTK antenna on the right side also plugged in. But 2 issues are:

1. When I put a payload where the upper gimbal should go, it blocks GPS reception.

2. When I look in the DJI go 4 app > MC settings > Advance settings > sensor state compass, it shows Compass 2 disconnected. It says disconnected both with and without the external gps compass module.

Are there any steps to enable the external gps module? I’ve tried calibrate compass but it doesn’t change anything.  Thank you!

I figured it out. My M210 RTK is faulty. When I plug in the compass-GPS unit into a different M210 the little LED on the compass-GPS unit lights up. Also, when I go into the settings (as I wrote in point #2) I see a second compass detected!
