Awesome shot DA.    You got to love the Mini 2.  Very capable for it's small form factor.

Lol.  There was some swearing just before I left for that location.  The night before I put the m2p batteries on the charger and just as we were leaving I realised they hadn’t charged as some one had unplugged the charger. Luckily I could get enough charge into a mini2 battery in the car on route.

We were supposed Mohave rain all day,   we had some at 5:30am and now its gone again.   I try to plan my week around the weather but so far its just letting me down royally.

And I thought it was only in South Africa that they couldnt forcast the wheather!
Seems like we have very similar wheather - This morning it was slightly cloudy with strong wind, right now it looks like it could rain any moment and the windy wind is, well.... windy.
Thanks for the sphere - looks like the area has plenty of green belts - but then, what do I know of karate? We only have black belts here

Here we have also a phenomenon called (Philamon) load schedding. Due to the fact that the electricity supply commission (Eskom) is unable to supply sparks sometimes (because the (new) government did not understand the meaning of maintenance). They thought that things like that run by themselves, even after 20 years.
So I have to do my battery charging in the way that you do your planning. I found the best was to recharge directly after returning from a flight (after the batts cool) then at least I have a chance of a flight. I also keep two power banks for emergencies.

I tried to share the sphere, everything works as it should on my phone, but on another phone, with whom I shared only a simple photo ...

The file from the drone is flat and distorted,  you then have to host it somewhere that can "unwrap" it.  I use my free sky pixel account and then this forum will embed it too.

Mini 2 to the rescue.  I really like the flight time per battery that the Mini 2 gives.

Im not sure thats a thing,  usually fast charging is bad,  in this case they are just smaller batteries so they feel like they charge faster.

Poor wording on my part.  What I should have said was it's nice that the Mini 2 battery can reach full charge quicker than the larger M2P battery and therefore gives a longer flight time.  Guess I better go get a cup of coffee and wake up a bit more before I post wrong again.

I haven't seen the mod on the Air 2 battery for use in the mini.  Sounds interesting.  I'll try a google search.
