lol,    I was dodging light aircraft,  it seems that they fly upto the gorge and they do lapse of it before moving off.   Probably part of a lesson they are on.

And for one once none of them were broadcasting ADS-B which they normally do,   but maybe as they were well below 500ft that was why.

Certainly is tricky,   took out my nice car yesterday as it was supposed to be nice and its been freshly detailed and I was only 5 minutes out when the heavens opened against the forecast.   Then because it was wet I wasn't able to put the cover back on last night. Then over night we had the heaviest rain Ive seen in a while,   you could have literally kayaked down my road.   So todays job is to wash/dry and detail the car and get the cover back on and then Im painting a walk in wardrobe with is a royal pain.

I bet you're annoyed about the car.  Gusty winds here this morning so no flying today.

haha, thanks, am probably going to be grounded and weathering out the latest winds / rain that we call Summer! Off to Northumberland in 10 days, hopefully better weather then and Perseid Meteors too!

It's the Old Buckenham Air Show this weekend too, such a shame that the weather is pants; they still managed to sell out, hopefully the flying displays will be okay.

Was hoping to go find the secret radar tower on the Thames this morning but its been raining most of the night and its just started again,  although its not forecast until 13:00.
