And from your other comment you had a cabin which is nice,  I thought it was only camping around that lake from what I had seen on insta.

PS, I tested the D750 with the capture card.
Seriously cool after 30 minutes.
The processing to a file is what seems to make it hot.

We used to travel through Sweden  4 weeks  'every' summer when Ik was 10-16, so I am used to it.
I loved the flexible way of traveling.

We prefer the campinglife with the social aspect that comes with it right now.
Usually we have very nice evening with total strangers around a campfire

Both have their appeal to us btw.
And if it was not for the kids, a cabin in the wild would also have more appeal I think.

lol,  thanks for the giggle Hallmark.

I can see why the joystick broke off - when the unit is in the cover, the joystick sticks out.
Getting the unit out of the cover without the wrist strap means you must take hold of the unit in the area of the joystick (as it sticks out) to pull and if you are not careful the joystick may break off.
I find it kind of hard to extract the pocket2 from the protective cover but now have put the wrist strap in place so pull on that for the extraction.
This to me is somewhat of a design problem. The other thing that bugs me is the on off switch.
There are two ways to switch on : the power button on the side that I keep pressing (would be nice if the power switch worked like with the mavic - Press and hold
The other way is to press once on the button next to the joystick (like when you extract from the cover).
I almost broke my doodle (do it all) handle from trying to get the pocket out of the cover.
How long is the wrist strap going to last?

Did they ever send you a replacement? Mine fell off too and im always very careful with it. It seems like very cheap plastic....

They could only send a UPS label, but that did not work.
It does feel like cheap plastic indeed.

Some specific reason why it didn't work? When my microphone windshield's connector magnet got loose, I contacted the support, got the label, sent the windshield to DJI and got a new one at no extra cost. Could you ask the support about it?

Yeah, they only could send a UPS label. But that could not be scanned here.
It was the wrong type of label, but support could not help me with that.
Not sure why not, but it just could not.
Here in NL we use DHL more, but they did not want to help me with that.

I followed the instructions on the dji website and shipped my mini control stick to them for assessment, and they came back with a quote asking me to pay $90USD to repair it.
