Iv'e owned this Mini 2 for only 3 days after my other one went back to the shop due to a camera malfunction, Can anybody tell me why the video is pulsating like a heart beat?
I'm glad I took My trusty Phantom 3 with me as well, I'm beginning to lose all hope with the MinI 2.

Whoa!  That doesn't look at all good.  I can't think of any reason for that, other than if you might be using an ND filter of too high a value and the quad is constantly attempting to compensate somehow?  Dunno.

You dont have a strobe on it, do you?

No filters no strobes, first flight of this replacement drone, the footage I took before this was fine, didn't notice this till I got home.

I would do a test with the exposure locked and if it still happens return it as well.

Do you have subtitles enabled? If so, it might be worth checking the footage again and see what the EV figure is doing.

I have just done a flight as it was and it seemed to be fine, but its definitely something to keep an eye on. I'll try the AE lock next time I'm out. Thanks

That looks like the auto-white balance system hunting. This used to be a problem with the Phantom series of aircraft, solved by setting colour-temperature or white balance to a fixed value in the settings.

Ah ok, so not the cache.
I have not experienced this.
It could be something that happend during post processing.
Can you share an original (unedited) file? (not via youtube, but via wetransfer, onedrive etc.)

You are right, I watched 50s concluding it was ok hahahahahahahahaha.
It is obviously quite smooth. So nothing file related if you ask me.

I think the auto exposure was fooled by something.
Not sure what that was.
I have never experienced this and always film on AE.
With -0.7 EV compensation
Lovely area to film btw.

Thanks for looking. I'll try with the AE lock on next time, I did a test video later that day in a field near me, seemed fine
